Prof. Noam Gavriely is a physician and a scientist who seamlessly combines academic work with applied research, while maintaining active clinical interests in emergency and critical care medicine. With a broad background spanning life sciences, cardiopulmonary physiology, and orthopedic R&D, he has built a distinguished career at the intersection of innovation and clinical practice.
In 1999, Prof. Gavriely founded OHK Medical Devices, Ltd., a company best known for developing HemaClear®, a breakthrough device that enables the creation of a sterile, bloodless surgical field in orthopedic and vascular limb procedures. The company also pioneered the Auto-Transfusion Tourniquet (A-TT™), designed for the rapid, life-saving treatment of critically ill patients experiencing severe hemodynamic shock or circulatory arrest during CPR.
