Two days ago, our dear colleague Dimitris from EKAB Athens was seriously injured in a traffic accident during an emergency intervention. An elderly driver unexpectedly cut him off, causing a violent collision.
Dimitris sustained severe injuries and had to be resuscitated at the scene. After successful resuscitation, he was transported to the hospital, where doctors are still fighting for his life.
Members of IMRUA and IMRUA Slovenia are deeply shaken by this news. Our thoughts are with Dimitris, his family, and his team. We wholeheartedly hope for his full recovery and that he will soon return home to his loved ones.
