Dr. Taja Rukavina Šabanović is a specialist in emergency medicine with over 12 years of experience, dedicating most of her career to providing care in prehospital emergency settings. Her professional work spans prehospital emergency response, helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS), and hospital emergency departments.
Throughout her career, Dr. Rukavina Šabanović has been deeply committed to improving emergency medical systems and enhancing clinical outcomes in critical situations. She currently serves as President of Winfocus Slovenia, playing a key role in promoting the use of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and advancing best practices in emergency medicine.
In addition to her clinical duties, she is actively involved in education and training. As an experienced instructor, she makes a significant contribution to the training of first responders and to raising the standards of prehospital care both nationally and internationally.
Her leadership, extensive hands-on experience, and dedication to teaching make her one of the most respected professionals in the field of emergency medicine.
